Do you realize?

Is it just me or does anyone else realize how much art is becoming nothing more then part of a trend/fad and how fucking pathetic the art scene is becoming? It seems like every preteen girl who gets her hands on a camera and photoshop or begins to right "deep" *sarcasm* poetry is suddenly an amazing fucking artist. I'm getting to the point where I just want to say fuck art, its becoming embarrassing to call art my passion when every other kid with a DA claims the same thing.
Oh well.

I'm not really all that passionate about it, but it will give me a job while in college that involves art and pays decently so yeah.
I don't think I'll make it something I do long term though, I really want to stick with writing/art and make graphic novels or films and things along the nature of that.

Im starting an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop in a few weeks.
